Take a Closer Look at the Dodge Charger’s Safety Features

Dodge initially introduced the Charger as a show car in 1964. It has gone on to become a well-regarded fixture in the muscle car market. In fact, it’s the only 4-door model available in its category. Part of the Charger’s enduring character is Dodge’s continuing attention to safety features.

The braking system, for example, provides a number of added safety features. Included among them is Advanced Brake Assistance, which is immediately notified should you quickly remove your foot from the gas. It’s designed to add extra pressure to the brakes in an effort to help avoid a collision. The Rain Brake System is another element that assists with a small amount of added pressure on the calipers to help keep them dry on wet surfaces. It’s alerted when you turn on the windshield wipers.
