Our Philosophy

Sheboygan Chevrolet Chrysler Center was originally part of the the Rydell Group, which was founded by Leonard Rydell in 1946 as a small Chevrolet store in Montgomery, Minnesota. Currently, there are over 40 Rydell Group dealerships in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, California, and Nebraska selling nearly all makes and models.  The Rydell Group is currently the largest privately owned group of auto dealerships in the country.

Today, Sheboygan Chevrolet Chrysler Center is owned and operated by Randy Romanoski, formerly a Rydell group manager himself.  He has been the dealer operator for over a decade.  He is (and has always been) a very active member of the business community.  He also believes in giving back to the community and is involved in several different charities on an ongoing basis. 

We have always followed the philosophy of high volume, low prices and happy customers.  Our dealerships are run that way.  Our sales people show the customer the lowest price right away, the "No hassle price".  We are one of the few dealerships to have that flagship philosophy from day one.  Other dealerships have tried it sporadically here and there, but it is at the core of how we do business - repeat business.

Our price is the same whether you lease or buy.

Our sales consultants are not paid commission.  That means you don't have to pay their commission, like at some dealerships.  They are paid under a plan that compensates them for providing the customers the vehicles that are best for the customer, not the vehicles that have the most profit. All of our dealerships operate that way.  Customers appear to approve. As a result, we are selling more vehicles. The goal is to sell more vehicles and have lots of happy customers.  We plan to do just that by following the clarity, principles, and simple honesty described above.
